Running since 2001, the Advanced Programme in Veterinary Nursing of Zoo, Wildlife & Exotics, started out as the City & Guilds Certificate in Veterinary Nursing of Exotics.

Created by Simon Girling, the programme, which is accredited by City & Guilds, has evolved from a distance learning course with notes posted out to students every 2 weeks, to a vibrant online training programme that is  part of established veterinary nursing postgraduate education, alongside an online community supporting vet nurses to advance their careers and become the go to people in the practice for all things exotic and wildlife.
